At NJ Howlers, our goal is to bring the European tactics of soccer to the kids who will have the opportunity to learn methodologies from famous clubs in Spain and deepen their understanding of the game.

Academy Director Julen Torre holds a UEFA PRO License, bringing the esteemed LaLiga DNA of Spain directly to New Jersey. Over 15 years ago, after competing in Spain's semi-pro level leagues, Julen went into coaching. Fueled by a lifelong passion for the game and a deep-seated desire to inspire the next generation of players.
His leadership is defined by a warm, powerful mantra: "Train them exactly as you would have wished to be trained." Drawing from his experience both, playing and coaching at the elite methodologies of legendary clubs like Athletic Club Bilbao, FC Barcelona, Villarreal, and RCD Espanyol, he has established a training culture that celebrates the technical brilliance and creativity of the Spanish style.
Coach Jul empowers his pack to be the true protagonists on the pitch—not just with the ball, but by mastering the rhythm and timing of every play. As he often says, "Soccer is no longer just about possession; it is a game of Time and Space, and the brilliance of what you achieve with both."
